Five for Friday: 1/16/2015

Hi Friends!  It's time for Five for Friday with Doodle Bugs Teaching!

My mom's kiddos completed my New Year's Resolution Craft (you can find it here) and these are them on display in her room.  Super cute!

I think this about sums up what I've done everyday this week!  I have been so sick and am finally starting to feel better.  My husband laughed because of course I got the flu shot and am sick.  And he?  No flu shot and so far feeling great.  Meh!

The 100th day is just around the corner for many of you and as I was browsing through my files I came across some fun photos from my kinders 100th day!  On the 100th day I like to decorate the classroom with streamers and 100 ZEROS!  Then when the students come in first thing we collect them all and then count them.  Here are my kiddos grouping by tens to count.

I'm a little mad at myself because I'm pretty sure this little product won't be finished by Monday.  Boo!  With traveling and this darn cold I just didn't get around to completing it.  Oh well, I figure it's done when it's done.  It'll probably be in my store by the end of next week and although that doesn't help you for this year,  you may want to check it out for next.

I am OBSESSED with my new kitchen tools by Joseph Joseph!  They are part of the Elevate collection and are super neat because they include a tool rest which keeps the head of each tool raised off the countertops.  How genius!

Now head on over to Doodle Bugs Teaching to check out more Five for Friday posts!  Have a great weekend.

  4. I'm loving your new kitchen tools. I must get some of those!

Sorry to hear you've had the flu. It's just awful this year! All 4 of my kiddos and hubby had it right before Christmas. I hope you are done with being sick and avoid all the other gunk that's around schools this time of year.

    Have a great weekend!

  5. Ok I totally want those kitchen tools. I really need those. Your New Years craft came out really cute! So sorry you have been sick. Hopefully it will be over soon. I have never had a flu shot, and I haven't missed a day of school for illness in I can't remember when. I tell my husband I am convinced if I did get the shot then I probably would get sick...lol. Get plenty of rest and stay warm friend!
