Wordless Wednesday: Excited!

My mom sent me this sweet photo of her kiddos after they finished their 100th Day Chains.  She also sent a video of them counting and singing! It was adorable.  They were so happy and excited!

What's something you did with your class this week that got them all excited?

Be sure to check out other great Wordless Wednesday's by checking out the linky above.

  1. I've yet to see my class this week! We had professional development Monday. Yesterday and today are snow days! My kids were excited last week to share their snow monster stories with peers. Enjoy the rest of your week!

  2. I'm trying to release some independence to my kids this week. They were so excited to build their long i words with partners instead of just whole group today! They're growing up before my eyes!

    Have a great week!

  3. Oh yeah! I bet they were excited. I love how just changing things up a bit makes things even sweeter. I hope your week is going well and that students are working hard to be independent.

  4. Love those chains! My kiddos are really loving the song that goes with our poem for the week. They just start spontaneously singing it while we are doing other work at our tables, It is just so cute. It has been amazing to see the growth this year of how quickly they are able to memorize their poems now versus the beginning of the year.

    1. How fun! That's one thing about the little ones, it's like they come back after winter break and are doing so much more! The growth is amazing! Hats off to you for awesome teaching!
