Browsing through my 2012-2013 teacher yearbook. (My 3rd year teaching) Came across this sweet page of "love notes" from my kinder students. No better feeling :)
What makes you happy?
How sweet - and it's these things which keep us feeling positive when dealing with all the admin that comes with the job! I get a tremendous rush of happiness seeing the finished art pieces my students create and how pleased they are at the result of all their hard work :-) Lovely to meet you via the linky.

I completely agree with you! I love looking back through pictures and letters from past families and students. It always brings a smile to my face and helps me to remember why I do what I do. Thank you for stopping by to comment and it is lovely to meet you as well.
DeleteI would love to hear more about this teacher yearbook of yours. Happiness right now is wine and quite time with a clean house.

Hello Sarah,
DeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting. Yes, I love my yearbook :) This particular year of teaching we had an amazing yearbook club with some awesome parent advisors. At the end of the year they gave each teacher a personalized yearbook filled with special notes, pictures, and sayings as a way for us to look back on our own school year. I love that they made it unique to me. Sometimes all we need is a little reminder of all the good in our lives to bring a smile to our face. PS. I checked out your blog, you are a busy lady! HaHa I like the idea of a Monday meal theme. I sure know I could use a few more meal ideas. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week. :)
Thank you for shharing this
