Oh. My. Word! I just love seeing pins and posts about back to school mini gifts! I really think they are so great and such a fun way to start the school year. I myself LOVE to have an excuse to put together a gift of any kind so back to school gifts for the teacher, your students, or your co-teachers is fantastic. Here's a quick look at 3 inexpensive mini gifts I put together. Enjoy!
Here's an example of a student gift. I found CRAYOLA glitter glue sticks for $1.50 a nine pack! What a deal! But if you can't find the crayola glitter glue on sale try checking out your local dollar store. I know in California I could always find packs of glitter glue there. Anyway I added a tag that says "Can't wait to see you SPARKLE this year" and tadaa... all done :)
Now here's a simple co-teacher gift. I bought a fun bright note pad and a pack of highlighters in total costing me $1.00 and then put it together with a tag that reads " Here's to a BRIGHT school year!" Easy - Peasy!
I don't have any little ones of my very own yet, but when I do I'm sure I'll make their teacher a back to school gift! I love the idea of teacher survival kits but this is an example of something much cheaper. I took a jam jar I already had and filled it with tea, then tied a ribbon to the top with a tag that reads " This year's going to be TEA-RRIFIC with you as my teacher!" For fun and a touch of cuteness I added a tea ball. I think it spiced it up!
Did you make or receive any back to school gifts?
