Five for Friday!

Hey All!  This last week and a half has been filled with walking!  My parents were in town so I became their tour guide.  This was their first time to England so I showed them  around the city where I live, Cambridge and London *AND* we also took a fantastic 4-day trip to Paris!!!  We had so much fun and I was sad to see them go home.  This weeks Five for Friday is mostly about our trip but seeing as my mom is a teacher too, we of course teacher talked so there are a few school ideas included.

One of the first places I took my parents was Cambridge!  I love this university city and my parents did too!  We had fun eating sweets at Patisserie Valerie, shopping and punting on the River Cam.

The next day we went to Warwick Castle!  I have to say this medieval castle is pretty cool.  We toured about the grounds and enjoyed a couple of included shows.  On the day we visited there were TONS of kids!  I'm sure they had fun and after seeing it myself, I think it'd be a great field trip!

We also went to Paris!  Not only was it my parents first visit to Paris but it was mine too!  It's a HUGE city and there is so much to see.  I loved it all!

My mom was on spring break so she of course was thinking about what she was doing with her class when she returned.  Next week she will be using the writing and crafts from my Oviparous Animals pack and also her students will be making my FREE Easter Bag.  Click on the images above to see them in my store.

Since many of you are either on or will be on spring break I made this FREEBIE writing sheet for students to fill out when they return. Grab it by clicking above.
(Click on each separately to get the boy and girl)

I hope you all have had a fantastic week!

    1. I enjoyed living vicariously through your pictures. What an AMAZING trip! I hope to one day be lucky enough to get to travel abroad!
    2. I'm not embarrassed to tell you I sure did have to look up the word oviparous! LOL. I realized I know the concept obviously, but, I swear, I have NEVER heard that word! How cool that your kiddos are learning it!!
